Luminara provides in-browser image processing tools (e.g. compress, resize, crop) and, subject to separate agreement, paid AI-powered image processing features. The free tools run locally in your browser. Paid AI services may involve transmission and processing of your content on our systems as described at the time of use and in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload or process content that infringes intellectual property or other rights of others, or that is defamatory, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ data, or any non-public part of the Services.
• Use automated means (e.g. scraping, bots) to access the Services in a manner that burdens our infrastructure or violates these Terms.

4. Intellectual property and your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content for paid AI processing, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and store that content only as necessary to provide the Services. Our website, branding, and technology remain our property. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer our Services without permission.

5. Paid services and refunds

6. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated or processed results may vary and are not guaranteed to meet any particular standard. You use the Services at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminara and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue the Services or your access with or without notice where we deem it necessary.
